To support its research strategy, the BioAnalytical Science Department at the NRC is seeking a:
Scientist in Nutritional Systems Biology

who will work within the Functional Genomics Group.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, insource and maintain bioinformatics methods for systems-level interpretation of biological, clinical and analytical data.
- Analyse and integrate experimental data from various sources including large-scale data sets.
- Modelling of regulatory processes related to health and nutrition; theoretical systems biology.
- Communication of complex concepts to scientists from diverse backgrounds.
- Create internal reports as well as external publications and oral presentations.

Profile:
- PhD in Biology, Bioinformatics or Biochemistry.
- High proficiency in English (oral and written).

Personality:
- Open, communicative and proactive team player.
- Highly developed curiosity, initiative and sense of responsibility.
- Highly developed autonomy.
